The biomedical insulated container is the 50-litre solution with practical top opening for the safe transport of vaccines and other biomedical products. It is the essential product for transporting plasma, vaccines, organs, blood, samples and medical products at a controlled temperature. The isothermal features and cooling or heating units allow constant control of the internal temperature and prevent thermal shocks from altering the contents.

To ensure that the temperature is maintained, the biomedical insulated container is equipped with 3 cables for power supply, making it extremely versatile in use and during transport. The first cable is for power supply via 230 V 50-60Hz mains, while the other two are for 12Vdc power supply, one with double Andreson connector and the other with the car cigarette lighter plug.

It is possible to transport the biomedical insulated container with conventional vehicles and, within a single vehicle, transport fresh, frozen and room temperature products. In addition, the cooler is a robust monolithic piece as it is manufactured using the rotational moulding technique and comes complete with stainless steel grip handles and a plastic-coated wire evaporator protection grid.

The digital thermostat with which this model of biomedical insulated container is equipped allows you to set the temperature you wish to maintain, and the models available allow you to choose the one most suited to your needs. In fact, versions are available with a refrigerating unit (from -25°C to 0°C) that activates when the external temperature is higher than the set one, but also models with a heating unit (from 0°C to +40°C) that activates when the external temperature is lower than the set one.
