Compost bin 660 liters

The compost bin is the solution that allows you to create the optimal conditions for the decomposition of food scraps, grass clippings, leaves and much more, in order to obtain compost, which is an excellent natural fertilizer. Thanks to the exploitation of this process, it will in fact be possible to significantly reduce the use of chemical fertilizers to be used for the care of garden plants, and a substantial contribution to environmental protection will be guaranteed.

The truncated conical barrel with a circular base is molded into 4 interlocking sectors, which can be assembled with quick-release locking levers. The horizontal openings provide ventilation while at the same time preventing the entry of rainwater. The base consists of 4 interlocking sectors and at the bottom it presents some holes to facilitate the interchange with the ground and channels to ensure ventilation from below. The central cone to be attached to the base is equipped with anti-occlusion slots and is intended to improve ventilation.

The lid of the compost bin is hinged to the sealing ring of the introduction mouth, which is circular and large in size. To extract the ripe compost, simply lift the ring with the lid and unhook one or two sectors of the drum as needed.

Thanks to its size, the compost bin is ideal for medium or large green spaces. In fact, its base measures 1000 mm, the upper part 440 mm while the height is 1120 mm. Its capacity, on the other hand, is 660 liters.
