Drain boom oil-only for manhole

The drain boom oil-only for manhole is designed for the safe and efficient management of oil and hydrocarbon spills inside of manholes. These oil booms are the ideal product to provide reliable protection against potential environmental damage caused by oil, hydrocarbon and paint spills, while minimising the risk of soil and water contamination. Ideal for the recovery of pollutants from manholes, sumps and drains, they float even when saturated, and their use allows compliance with Italian regulations on safety at work (Legislative Decree 9 April 2008, no. 81) and environmental protection (Legislative Decree 3 April 2006, no. 152).

Made from highly absorbent materials and advanced technology, each drain boom is designed to capture and retain oils and hydrocarbons quickly and effectively. This keeps manholes clean and safe, preventing the spread of pollutants into the surrounding environment.

At the end of the drain boom’s structure is a fastening carabiner that allows connection to a rope to easily hold and retrieve the boom from manholes or other deep holes. The booms possess oleophilic properties that are active on hydrocarbons and, being water-repellent, they do not absorb water.

Each drain boom oil-only for manhole has dimensions 450x200x200 mm and an absorbency capacity of 13 litres. They are supplied in packs of 10 booms.
