Edge protector for straps Cargo

The edge protector is the plastic protective solution for lashing straps and it is indispensable for proper load security. The straps are essential for stabilizing the goods transported in commercial vehicles and the plastic corners protect the lashing straps, but also the corners of the packages. Furthermore, they are ideal for evenly distributing the belt tension over its entire length.

The safety and preservation of the lashing straps is ensured by the use of this plastic edge protector, which is particularlu handy for shielding the goods transported and the straps from sharp edges and rubbing. In addition, it protects lashing straps from excessive and premature wear and tear, it's robust but lightweight and resistant to temperature changes.

The production of the plastic edge protector takes place following the regulations issued with the Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2017 prot. n. 215 (OJ No. 139 of 17 June 2017) registered in force since May 2018. The edge protector has a K value of 1.79, which is higher than the requirements of the EN 12195-1 and VDI 2700 according to which the factor value "K" must be greater than or equal to 1.5 (K≥1.5).
