Edge protector for straps with buttonhole

The edge protector with slot made of plastic is 135 x 130 mm in size and is the protective solution for lashing straps that facilitate the securing of packages. Lashing straps are essential for securing various types of goods transported in trucks, vans and, in general, in commercial vehicles and warehouses. To protect these straps, they can be inserted quickly and easily through the slot: in this way both the strap and the load will be protected.

A high level of safety is guaranteed by the edge protector for straps. In fact, it is useful for protecting both goods and straps from sharp edges and chafing, but also for evenly distributing the pretensioning load of the straps and the anchoring force generated by them.

The black edge protector allows to secure the load in line with regulations issued with the Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2017 prot. n. 215 (Official Gazette No. 139 of 17 June 2017) which came into force in May 2018. The edge protector have a K value of 1.79, which is greater than or equal to 1.5 (K≥1.5), as required by EN 12195- 1 and VDI 2700.
