Horizontal magnetic drill Fervi 0518/55H
In stock
The horizontal magnetic drill by Fervi is a machine tool that is indispensable for carrying out jobs that require precision and flexibility at the same time, such as for example drilling with coring cutters. The magnetic base that composes this product is designed for the instrument to be used exclusively on ferromagnetic surfaces in order to ensure its immobilisation during use. Depending on the machining to be performed and on the material of which the workpiece is made, it will be necessary to vary the tool to be used.
The lever for the rapid advancement of the horizontal magnetic drill’s chuck consists of a 3/8" ratchet wrench to be inserted into the right and left seats of the drill. It will therefore not be necessary to move the ratchet to the other side to raise the chuck as it has a rotation selector on the head of the key.
In addition to the on and off buttons of the Fervi horizontal magnetic drill, the machine is also fitted with the magnet’s switch which also acts to all intents and purposes as the main switch of the machine. In fact, if the magnet positioned in the lower part of the drill is not activated, the device will not start working.
The standard equipment of the horizontal magnetic drill also includes a nebulizer which allows you to spray coolant on the tool during machining to prevent it from heating up. Furthermore, a fixing band is also supplied, in case you need the drill to be stopped in a given position.
