Metal lathe Fervi T070

The Fervi T070 metal lathe is the solution that allows you to work metal parts at a professional level. It is in fact the ideal machine to perform processes such as turning (both cylindrical and conical), facing, profiling, drilling, boring, threading and parting. It is a fully manual operation machine, as it is capable of performing only movements on the direct command of the operator. Furthermore, although it is a professional type machine, it is not designed for continuous use during the working day, but rather intermittent use is recommended as it is a service machine and not a production machine.

The tool trolley is necessary to fix the tool and transmit the positioning and advancement motions to it. The position of the carriage and of the tool holder slides are adjusted through the levers and handwheels located on the carriage itself. Furthermore, the metal lathe is equipped with gears (with Semi-Norton box) that allow a considerable availability of feeds and threads (metric and inch). By positioning the levers in a certain way, different feeds and threads are obtained.

The tailstock is complete with manual controls (levers, handwheels and screws) to fine-tune it and determine its progress. Furthermore, the Fervi lathe is equipped with steady rests (fixed and mobile) to allow the management of drilling, boring and facing operations, therefore of all the operations in which it is not possible to use the tailstock to fix the workpiece. In addition, steady rests are indispensable when machining long and heavy workpieces.

The head is also made of high-strength cast iron and this is where the spindle is positioned. The different speeds of the spindle are obtained by means of a speed change with adjustable gears through levers. Furthermore, the T070 lathe model equipped with inverter and complete with potentiometer: this allows you to select the rotation speed accurately while the inverter allows you to change the speed while keeping the power constant. Furthermore, all models are equipped with a mechanical brake with pedal activation which, if necessary, slows down or stops the rotation of the spindle.

The Fervi T070 metal lathe is available in different models. One equipped with a viewer and a distance between the tips equal to 1000 mm, one equipped with a viewer and a distance between the tips equal to 1500 mm, the last one equipped with a viewer, distance between the tips equal to 1000 mm and an inverter. The viewer is useful for checking the X, Y and Z dimensions.
