The Fervi T075I metal lathe is a horizontal axis machine tool that allows you to work metal materials through the removal of cold shavings. The motion of the cut is given by the motion of the piece that is machined by rotating on its axis and the feed motion of the tool. It is a completely manual operation machine. In fact, it is capable of performing only movements on the direct command of the operator. The machinery is also to be considered service and not production, so it is not recommended for continuous use throughout the day.

The standard equipment of the metal lathe also includes a self-centering chuck with 3 reversible jaws and a platform with 4 independent jaws. The panel for adjusting the spindle rotation speed (which takes place through gears) is equipped with a lever for selecting the rotation speed range. Accurate selection of the spindle speed is possible using the supplied digital display. The inverter speed change allows to vary the spindle speed while keeping the power constant. The machine is also equipped with a mechanical pedal operated brake that slows or stops rotation if necessary.

The tool trolley allows you to fix the tool and transmit it the movements of positioning and advancement. The position of the carriage and the tool holder slides can be adjusted thanks to the levers and handwheels located on the carriage itself. Furthermore, the parallel lathe is equipped with gears (with Semi-Norton box) capable of guaranteeing a considerable availability of feeds and threads (metric and inch). The selection of the steps takes place through 4 rotary knob selectors that control the gear speed change. There is also a fifth knob for selecting the direction of advancement of the carriage.

The tailstock is complete with manual controls, ie levers, handwheels and screws, through which it is possible to modify the fine adjustment and the advancement. In addition, the Fervi lathe is supplied complete with steady rests, fixed and mobile, to manage the machining of long and heavy pieces, but also all those operations for which it is not possible to use the tailstock to fix the workpiece (drilling, boring and facing).

The Fervi T075I parallel lathe is supplied complete with a digital display that allows, among other things, to keep the X, Y and Z dimensions monitored, guaranteeing an accuracy of 0.001.
