Metal lathe Fervi T750

The Fervi T750 metal lathe is the semi-automatic solution that allows you to perform machining such as cylindrical turning, facing, profiling, drilling, boring and threading on pieces of metal material. It is a professional solution as some of the carriage advancements, longitudinal and transversal, can be carried out in automatic mode. This type of machine equipped with a load-bearing bed made of cast iron, although designed for professional use, is not to be considered as production. In fact it is advisable to use it intermittently and not continuously during working days.

The tool trolley slides along the pallet guides and is necessary to fix the tool and transmit the positioning and feed motions. To adjust the position of the trolley and the tool holder slides, the levers and handwheels located on the trolley itself are used. Furthermore, the lathe is equipped with a gear transmission system (with Semi-Norton box) which guarantees a considerable availability of feeds and threads. Using the appropriate knobs (marked with Roman numerals and letters) it is possible to different feeds and threading pitches.

The tailstock is equipped with manual controls (levers, handwheels and screws) that allow fine adjustment and advancement. Furthermore, the metal lathe is supplied complete with steady rests to be able to manage operations in which it is not possible to use the tailstock (e.g. drilling, boring and facing) but also for cases in which it is necessary to fix the opposite end of the piece to be machined through a bezel (in the case of long and heavy pieces).

On the shaft of the head of the Fervi lathe, 2 different spindles can be installed which are included which allow you to lock the piece to be machined. The first spindle is self-centering with 3 jaws with a diameter of 125 mm, while the second is a spindle with 4 independent reversible jaws which therefore allows you to fix the piece even with the axis out of the center, thus allowing you to perform special machining. .

The rotation speed of the spindle of the metal lathe can be adjusted by means of belts, positioning them as indicated on the plate affixed to the control panel. Furthermore, the lathe is available in two models, one of which has an inverter that allows you to change the spindle rotation speed while keeping its power constant. In the model with inverter, it is possible to vary the rotation speed within the selected range (given by the positioning of the belts): the speed variation occurs by means of a potentiometer flanked by a display that shows the speed. Finally, the standard supply also includes a LED light lamp that allows for greater visibility of the work being carried out.
