Modulcontainer for drums on shelf with EI/REI120 certified panels, spill pallet and sliding doors

The modulcontainer is ideal when you want to store drums containing dangerous substances outdoors, optimizing the space available. The decision as to the suitability of the container remains with the company's in-house HSE manager or safety advisor, who will assess the suitability of the container according to the specific substances to be stored. The structure is made up of walls and sliding door made of EI 120 certified panels insulated in mineral wool 100 mm thick and A2-s1-d0 dim fire reaction class; the roof is made of corrugated panels (ridges thickness 40 mm) certified REI 120 insulated in mineral wool thickness 100 mm class of fire reaction to dim A2-s1-d0. The doors also have a 63 mm thick wing. The standard equipment includes: ventilation grilles, predisposition for fixing to the ground with dowels (securing is up to the user), continuous 80 mm slides for support, gutters and downspouts; pre-painted sandwich panel sheet metal thickness 5/10 walls and roofing; 2 mm thick galvanized carbon steel spill pallet, removable hot-dip galvanized grating floor with 34x76 mm 25x2 mm flat mesh and load capacity 600 kg / m2 and internal shelving. Furthermore, the painting of slides, spill pallet, downspouts and profiles is carried out in the RAL9002 color, but other colors are available on request.

The Legislative Decree 152/06 consolidated environmental text and related standards is respected in the design of the modulcontainer which are supplied complete with the following documentation:
• Watertight declaration of the tank as required by the Legislative Decree 152/06;
• Declaration that natural ventilation is in accordance with D.M. 18/05/95 with grids of dimensions equal to 1/30 of the plan surface;
• Declaration of the capacity of the grating floor;
• Welding declaration: in accordance with UNI EN ISO 3834-2.2006 with production control plan under surveillance - with qualified welders in accordance with EN 9606-1: 2013 - with welding process in accordance with UNI EN ISO 15614-1: 2012 , UNI EN ISO 9001: 15 certified quality system;
• User and maintenance manual (the operator must always use the Personal Protective Equipment as per Legislative Decree 81/08 for the operations listed in the manual).

The spill pallet is made according to Italian standards, its structure in galvanized carbon steel is therefore capable of containing the greater of 33% of the stored volume and the total volume of the largest container stored. To use the modulcontainer outside the Italian territory, it is necessary to find out what the legislation of the country of reference on the matter foresees in each country (for example France foresee 50% of the stored volume and Germany 10%). Even the ventilation grilles are structured according to the provisions of the Italian standards: if you intend to use the module container outside the Italian territory, it is therefore necessary to check the provisions of the national regulations on the subject (for example in France the grilles are mandatory, while in Germany they are recommended, but the number and structure required may vary).

The handling of the modulcontainer can take place, depending on the model that you choose, through the use of a forklift with fork extensions or with a crane (by hooking it from the base). When not provided as standard, handling by crane can be purchased as an accessory feature and in this case it is important to remember that you can move your container both by crane and forklift.

Different versions of modulcontainer are available which vary in size and can contain up to 48 drums on pallets. To further customize your own model, various accessories are available: the access ramp with or without flap (and with forklift pockets) and the non-Atex lighting, air conditioning and suction / ventilation systems. In addition, if you wish to store the drums horizontally, it is possible to accessorize your modulcontainer with a special structure, whose composition varies depending on the container in which it is mounted. This structure consists of drum support cradles (1 for each drum), 1 to 3 pairs of shelf beams and 1 to 3 pallet support tubes. Finally, a spill pallet with greater capacity and the Atex-approved electrical system are also available upon request.
