Modulcontainer for floor drums in steel with spill pallet and sliding doors

The modulcontainer is the outdoors solution that allows you to store on the floor drums containing hazardous substances. The decision on the suitability of the containment of such substances remains with the in-house HSE manager or the appointed company consultant. Made of galvanized steel, it is also available in the zinc painted version (colour RAL9002). It is possible on request to obtain the painting in other colors. The standard equipment of the structure includes: predisposition for fixing to the ground with dowels; continuous 80 mm slides for support; gutters and downspouts; ventilation grilles; drum spill pallet in galvanized carbon steel 2 mm-thick; removable hot-dip galvanized grating floor with 34x76 mm mesh, 25x2 mm plate and load capacity 600 kg / m2; walls and doors made with sheets with a 20 mm corrugation printed on 30x30 tubular frames; sheet metal roof with a 20 mm corrugation; carbon corrugated galvanised sheet metal thickness 4/10 on walls and 5/10 on roofing.

All the modulcontainer models are produced following the provisions of Italian legislation and in particular of Legislative Decree 152/06 consolidated environmental text and related standards and are supplied complete with the following documentation:
• Watertight declaration of the tank as required by the Legislative Decree 152/06;
• Declaration that natural ventilation is in accordance with D.M. 18/05/95 with grids of dimensions equal to 1/30 of the plan surface;
• Declaration of the capacity of the grating floor;
• Welding declaration: in accordance with UNI EN ISO 3834-2.2006 with production control plan under surveillance - with qualified welders in accordance with EN 9606-1: 2013 - with welding process in accordance with UNI EN ISO 15614-1: 2012 , UNI EN ISO 9001: 15 certified quality system;
• User and maintenance manual (the operator must always use the Personal Protective Equipment as per Legislative Decree 81/08 for the operations listed in the manual).

The construction of the spill pallet of the modulcontainer is done in compliance with the provisions of Italian law. This requires that the spill pallet must contain the greater of 33% of the stored volume and the volume of the largest container. If you plan to use the container module outside Italy, it will be essential to inquire about the current legislation for that specific country (for example, France provides for 50% of the volume stored and Germany for 10%). Even the ventilation grilles are structured on the basis of the provisions of the Italian standard: if you intend to use the module container outside the Italian territory, it is therefore important to check the national regulations on the subject (for example, in France the grilles are mandatory, while in Germany they are recommended, but the number and structure required may vary).

The modulcontainer is equipped with forklift pockets for handling by forklift which must be equipped with fork extension. Alternatively, it is possible to purchase the accessory provision for handling by crane which takes place with hooking from the base and in this case it is important to bear in mind that you will be able to move the container with both forklift and crane. 

You can customize the modulcontainer according to your specific needs in order to obtain a tailor-made structure. In addition to the standard equipment, it is also possible to purchase as an accessory: the access ramp with or without flap (fitted with forklift pockets), the non-Atex lighting system, the non-Atex air conditioning system and the non-Atex suction / ventilation system. Furthermore, upon request, it is also possible to obtain a spill pallet with greater capacity.
