Polyethylene modular spill containment platform

The spill containment platform is the modular solution that adapts to every need. Both in spall spaces and in large warehouses, it is possible to use the floor with tank to store drums and other containers of dangerous substances that might pollute the environment. In these cases, in fact, it is useful to create a floor suitable for containing accidental spills, thus protecting the environment but also the health of the workers.

To create the modular spill containment platform that best suits your needs, it is important to start with the choice of the flooring element, available in virgin polyethylene (orange) or regenerated polyethilene (green). Subsequently, it is possible to combine several flooring elements through the connection element, to be inserted under 2 platforms to keep them close together; this connection element is supplied with each platform.

If you need to create an even larger collection tank, you need to join two flooring elements using the PVC connection kit. The kit is supplied complete with bulkhead fittings, 2 nuts and 2 3/4 ”diameter gaskets. The necessary holes are the responsibility of the customer as the flooring elements are supplied without any drilling.

For a better access to the modular spill containment platform when carrying drums or containers with trolleys, an access ramp can be added, equipped with a metal hook to attach it to the floor. Finally, replacement grates are available in case of breakage.

Using a trolley, it is possible to load drums weighing up to 200 kg, always checking that the trolley and wheels are in good condition (to avoid damaging the grid). The platforms can only be moved when empty (the use of trolleys with pneumatic wheels 5-6 cm wide is recommended). Finally, the containment platforms can be emptied using a pump.
