The steel spill sump painted orange RAL 2004 is an essential component to ensure safety and environmental protection in the workplace. It is designed to contain flammable and water-polluting liquids and is the ideal solution to place under a metal storage shelf for 2 IBCS. 

The use of a steel spill sump for shelving is essential in order to comply with the various regulations on environmental protection and safety at work. In particular, the Italian Legislative Decree No. 152/2006, which deals with environmental protection, and the Italian Legislative Decree No. 81/2008, which deals with safety in the workplace, establish precise criteria for handling hazardous materials. These regulations require, among other things, that the tanks be able to accommodate the greater of the volume of the largest container stored and one third of the total volume of the containers. 

The steel spill sump for racks has dimensions of 1600x1300x650 mm and is designed to offer a collection capacity of 1000 litres. Thanks to its robust steel construction, the spill sump is ideal for use in industrial environments, warehouses or workshops, where the use and storage of flammable or environmentally harmful substances is common.

To meet every need, the steel spill sump can be accessorized by adding the galvanized steel grid (available as an option) that allows any containers to be placed on it. The spill pallet is made in compliance with Italian regulations, which require the containment capacity to be equal to the greater of 33% of the total volume stored and the volume of the largest container stored. Therefore, if you intend to use the spill pallet outside Italy, we recommend checking the current regulations regarding containment.
