Steel spill sump for underneath the rack for 4 IBCs

The steel spill sump for underneath the rack is a painted steel solution that is an indispensable device when IBCs containing hazardous substances are stored on racking. The use of this product makes it possible to contain any spills that may occur from the stored tanks, thus limiting both possible damage to the environment and to operators. 

The use of this steel spill sump model is ideal for standard shelving for 4 IBCs, as it guarantees compliance with environmental protection and work safety regulations.  In detail, the Italian Legislative Decree No. 152/2006, which deals with environmental protection, and Legislative Decree No. 81/2008, concerning safety in the workplace. According to these regulations, the tank is capable of holding the greater of the volume of the largest container stored and 1/3 of the total volume stored. 

The dimensions of the spill sump are 3680x1250x420+100 mm. It is perfectly capable of containing large quantities of hazardous liquids, in fact it has a storage capacity of 1400 litres. Made of painted steel, it is available in RAL 2004 orange. Furthermore, to ensure safety in the workplace, the tank is equipped with an identification plate and safety signs. 

In addition to the robust construction of the steel spill sump, it is possible to purchase the accessory of a galvanised steel grid, thanks to which containers can be positioned without them coming into direct contact with hazardous liquids.
