Steel spill sump for underneath the rack for 6 IBCs

The steel spill sump for metal storage shelves is a robust and durable solution for the containment of spills that may occur from IBCs stored on racks. It is in fact the best solution to prevent hazardous substances from coming into contact with soil, risking damage to both the environment and people. The structure makes it ideal for being placed at the base of shelving units for 6 IBCs.

The use of the spill sump tank makes it possible to comply with the various regulations concerning environmental protection and safety at work: Italian Legislative Decree no. 152/2006, which deals with environmental protection, and Italian Legislative Decree no. 81/2008, concerning safety in the workplace. In fact, as required by the regulations, the under-shelf spill pallet has to hold the greater of the volume of the largest container stored and 1/3 of the total volume stored. 

The under-shelf spill sump measures 3565x1300x560 mm, has a capacity of 2000 litres and is made of steel painted RAL2004 orange. The robust construction makes the spill sump tank suitable for professional use in industrial environments.

The standard equipment of the shelving steel spill sump does not include a support grid for potential storage of containers, which can be purchased as an accessory. In line with Italian regulations, the spill pallet is designed to hold at least the greater of 33% of the total volume of stored liquids or the largest container. For installations outside Italy, you are advised to check the laws in force in the country of use.
