Storage container in steel with spill pallet and 2 levels for drums 200 lt on pallet

The storage container made of steel is the optimal sized 2-story solution for the storage of drums on pallets. It is the ideal product for workshops, warehouses and factories that need to store drums in open spaces, without relinquishing security. Made with a monobloc structure, the storage container can be lifted from above and can be moved by forklift equipped with fork extensions and adequate loading capacity. There are several versions of the storage container: without doors, with PVC tarpaulin, with sliding or hinged doors.

The containers are made in compliance with the Italian legislation, according to which the spill pallet must contain the greater of 33% of the total volume stored and the volume of the largest container stored. Therefore, if you intend to use the storage container in territory outside Italy, it is advisable to check the regulations in force regarding containment (for example, in France 50% of the total stored is foreseen, in Germany 10%).

In order to ensure safe storage, the storage container in steel is manufactured in compliance with the following regulations:

On request, the container can be supplied complete with UNI EN 1090 certification which allows the CE marking to be affixed.

The sheet thickness of doors, walls and roof is 2.5mm, the sheet thickness of the spill pallet is 3mm. The doors and the insulating roof available as optional accessories are made with 50mm-thick mineral wool sandwich panels, certified EI30 and fire resistance class A2 S1-d0, interposed between the galvanized sheets. The container also has a provision for fixing to the ground with dowels and is equipped with a removable hot-dip galvanized grid floor with 66x55 mm mesh.

Particularly recommended for the storage of flammable substances are ventilation grids. These are designed in accordance with Italian regulations (Ministerial Decree 18/05/95), and are therefore able to guarantee ventilation equal to 1/30 of the floor area. If the container is to be used in a different country, it will be necessary to check the national regulations on ventilation (e.g. in Germany they are recommended, while in France they are mandatory, but the number and structure may vary). Containers without doors and those with PVC tarpaulin do not require the grids, as well as the insulating roof. On request, it is possible to purchase the storage container equipped with an additional polypropylene spill pallet (recommended if storing corrosive and aggressive liquids) and explosion-proof ventilation, in the case of storage of high-risk flammable substances. Finally, the container can be 100% insulated upon request.
