Storage container in steel with spill pallet for tanks 1000 lt

The storage container in steel is the safe solution for the external storage of 1000 liter tanks. It is the ideal product when the space inside factories and warehouses does not allow the positioning of tanks which must therefore be stored outside without giving up safety. The monobloc structure of the container can be lifted from above and represents a definitive solution, as it is complex to move it once positioned. In fact, handling is only possible using a forklift truck equipped with fork extensions and adequate capacity. The container is available in versions with hinged or sliding doors, with PVC tarpaulin or without doors.

Made in compliance with Italian legislation, the storage container in steel includes a spill pallet that must contain the greater of 33% of the total volume stored and the volume of the largest container stored. Each country has a different regulation regarding the minimum tank capacity, for example France provides for 50% of the total stored and Germany for 10%. It is therefore advisable to inquire about the regulations if you want to use the container outside the Italian territory.

The storage container in steel is made in accordance with the following regulations:

Furthermore, the UNI EN 1090 certification, which allows the CE marking to be affixed, is available on request.

The sheet thickness of doors, walls and roof is 2.5mm, the sheet thickness of the spill pallet is 3mm. The doors and the insulating roof that can be purchased as an accessory are made with 50 mm mineral wool sandwich panels interposed between the galvanized sheets, with EI30 certification and fire resistance class A2 S1-d0. Upon request, the container is 100% insulated. In addition, it is possible to request the REI120 certified container in this case the entire structure will be made with 100 mm thick mineral wool sandwich panels.

The storage container is designed to be fixed to the ground with dowels and is equipped with a removable hot-dip galvanized grating floor, 66x55 mm mesh. It is also possible to accessorise the storage container with ventilation grilles. The optional ventilation grids comply with the Italian D.M. 18/05/95 standard. The grilles therefore guarantee a ventilation that is equal to 1/30 of the floor area and are particularly recommended when storing flammable substances. If the storage container is to be used outside Italy, it is necessary to check the relevant national regulations (e.g. in France grids are mandatory, while in Germany they are recommended, but the required number and structure may vary). Containers without doors or with PVC tarpaulin require neither ventilation grids nor an insulated roof. Finally, it is possible to request the storage container with explosion-proof ventilation, in the case of storage of high-risk flammable substances, and a spill pallet with polypropylene lining, recommended for storing corrosive and aggressive liquids.
