Thicknesser Fervi 0517A

The Fervi 0517A thicknesser is a device that allows to give the wood a predetermined thickness. This type of machinery is designed and built to work on wooden boards. During thickness planing, the piece of wood rests on the lower support surface and is pulled inwards, making it advance under the planer shaft. In this way the upper surface of the machined axis is planed. It is a machine that must be used intermittently during daily activities. It is in fact a service machine and not a production machine.

The thicknesser consists of a main frame which includes the granite worktable, motor and relative drive rollers, two-blade planer shaft and start controls. While the machine is being used, the motor works at a constant speed, in fact it is not possible to adjust the rotation speed. The single-phase 230 V 50 Hz 1.5 kW motor requires a standard socket for operation.

The device must be connected to a dust extraction device before each use. This device must be traversed by an air current with a minimum speed of 20 m / s. The thickness planer is equipped with a conveyor with a 52 mm diameter hole. Included in the equipment is an adapter that allows you to connect pipes with a diameter of 62 and 100 mm.

The thicknesser has dimensions 710x640x400 mm, while its worktop measures 330x238 mm. Equipped with 2 blades it has a thickness capacity of 330 x 2.4 x 152 mm.v
