The vertical ladder without safety cage Security System is the solution for working at height in complete safety. It is the ideal product for reaching the top of industrial buildings, house roofs, extraction plants, machinery or wherever periodic maintenance is required. Made entirely of aluminium by Facal, it is a solid, robust and durable product that offers a safe and versatile solution. The ladder is equipped with simple, 167 cm long landing handles that allow descent from the ladder in an agile and safe manner.

In order to use the ladder safely, it is necessary to fix it to the wall using the appropriate wall brackets, which are not supplied as standard, but must be provided approximately every 2 metres (see the technical specifications table to purchase the correct number of brackets). Wall attachment via the brackets is done using dowels (not supplied). This type of ladder also does not require a cage as provided for by Legislative Decree 81/2008 art. 113 as the access/disembarking height does not exceed 5 metres (corresponding to A3 in the technical characteristics table). European regulations, on the other hand, provide for the use of ladders without safety devices against falls only for ladders up to 3 metres.

There are 11 versions of this vertical ladder available that allow as many access/disembarking heights up to a maximum of 4.80 metres. All compositions are equipped with 30x30 mm non-slip rungs. The pitch of the steps is 300 mm. The uprights have a rectangular section of 25x65 mm. The load-bearing capacity of the steps is that required by European standards and is 2.6kN.

The section of the vertical ladder has a width of 45 cm. The encumbrance space with the landing handles fitted, on the other hand, is 74.5 cm. Finally, ladders with an access/disembarking height of 360 cm or more consist of two ladders.
