The wire rope pulling hoist is a tool designed to horizontally pull or lift loads. This type of device is composed of the hoist body with levers and mechanisms for tensioning and releasing the steel rope, the attachment hook, the steel rope with hook for attachment to the rope itself and the lever for operating the tool. Equipped with a steel cable, it is a particularly useful piece of equipment when it is necessary to handle very heavy loads, thanks to its high maximum pulling capacity.

Three versions of the manual wire rope pulling hoist are available, with different sizes and different maximum pulling capacities. All versions have a 20 m cable, but with different diameters and consequently different pulling capacities. The version with ø 8.3 mm allows you to pull loads up to 800 kg, the ø 11mm cable has a maximum pulling capacity of 1600 kg, while with a cable with a diameter of 16 mm it is possible to pull up to 3200 kg.

To use the manual hoist it will be necessary to mount the rope on the tool, and then by using the operating lever it will be possible to tension and pull the load and then release it when necessary.

On the casing of the manual wire rope pulling hoist there is an identification plate where the CE marking is affixed and the maximum pulling capacity is indicated. There is also a pictogram showing the main safety requirements and the correct use of the hoist.
