Wood band saw Fervi 0302

The wood band saw by Fervi is the ideal product to use for cutting pieces of wood on a horizontal plane with a perpendicular saw. Thanks to this type of tool, it is possible to cut boards and beams that are quite large in size. In fact, it is the most suitable machine for processing flat and curved panels and square and rectangular boards. This type of machine is perfectly suited to both production departments and craft workshops. However, it is important to bear in mind that this is a service machine, and therefore not suitable for production, as it must be used intermittently during the working day and not continuously.

The wood sawing machine motor, once driven, always works at a constant speed. In fact, there is no control to adjust the speed of the blade. To start and stop the motor, there are red and green coloured buttons. These are wired in series with a safety micro-switch that detects the opening of the pulley compartment. This ensures the safety of the operator using the machine.

It is possible to choose between 3 different wood band saw models. These differ in the presence or absence of a base for support (models without a base must be placed on the workbench), and in the maximum size of the cutting capacity. Depending on the model chosen, the cutting capacity may be 300x170 mm, 245x120 mm or 200x80 mm.

Before each use, the wood band saw must be connected to a system that sucks up the sawdust. The hose used for suction must have a diameter of approximately 6 cm. The latter must be connected to the suction nozzle located at the bottom of the machine.
