The wood band saw is the ideal machine when you need to cut pieces of wood that are flat and curved panels, boards or circular logs. The dimensions of the table and the cutting capacity of the tool are in fact such as to make the tool suitable for cutting pieces with a circular section with a maximum diameter of 80 mm, with a rectangular section with a maximum size of 190x80 mm. This type of machine is designed to carry out intermittent work in the course of daily activities and therefore not continuous. It is in fact a service machine and not a production machine.

The structure of the wood band saw is made up of the frame, fixed base, swiveling work table and lever to push the pieces. The structure is completed by the electric motor, the chute and the driving pulleys for the cutting belt. The 230 V 50 Hz 0.35 kW single-phase motor requires a standard electrical outlet to power it. The motor always works at a constant speed, in fact the rotation speed is not regulated.

The wood band saw must be connected to a device for extracting sawdust before each use. The suction hose used for the connection must have a diameter of approximately 5 cm. This must be connected to the suction nozzle in the lower part of the machine.

This wood band saw model features a 200mm flywheel and a blade measuring 1430 x 6 x 0.36mm T6. The tilting table has dimensions of 290 x 290 mm, while the cutting speed is 13.7 m / s. The saw is also equipped with a protractor that allows you to work precisely.
