Gear bench metal lathe Fervi 0708

The Fervi 0708 gear bench metal lathe is a horizontal axis machine, ideal for processing metal materials by means of cold chip removal. The cutting motion of the tool is given by the motion of the piece to be machined, rotating on its axis, and the feed motion of the tool. The machine is completely manual operation, as it can only perform movements on direct operator command. It is a service machine, ideal for intermittent work and not suitable for production which involves continuous use. This type of bench lathe is designed to perform machining such as cylindrical turning, conical turning, facing, profiling, drilling, boring, threading and cutting on all types of ferrous metal materials.

The head made of cast iron is highly resistant. The spindle installed on the head shaft is of the self-centering 3 + 3 Ø 125 mm type and allows you to lock the workpiece in a stable and safe way. The spindle rotation speed change is made by metal gears, this makes the bench lathe particularly suitable for heavy-duty machining and for machining where many changes of rotation speed are required during daily use. The panel for adjusting the rotation speed is made up of two knobs.

The tool-holder trolley of the Fervi gear bench metal lathe, sliding along the guides, allows you to fix the tool and transmit it the movements of positioning and advancement. Made of cast iron, it is equipped with hardened and ground guides that guarantee high stability. Furthermore, the carriage advances are made possible by the manually operated handwheels.

The tailstock consists of a cast iron body which guarantees rigidity and stability in all conditions of use. The movement of the tailstock of the bench lathe takes place by means of a crank.

The gear bench metal lathe is equipped with an electrical panel operating at low voltage and designed to be protected from dust and other contaminants. Finally, the machine has a 230 V 50 Hz 0.55 kW motor.
