The bench geared drilling machine is the ideal tool to use when you need to perform drilling, threading, milling, boring and spot boring operations on different metal materials. To carry out the different processes it will be sufficient to change the tool used. The engine of the machine can run at two different speed ranges thanks to an electronic control system that allows you to vary the rotation from 50 rpm to 1400 rpm with slow motor rotation and from 100 to 3000 rpm with fast motor rotation.

Once the speed range of the bench geared drilling machine has been selected, it will be possible within these ranges to modify the spindle rotation speed which is regulated by a gear transmission system. Rotation speed selection can be performed by using the potentiometer.

On the spindle head of the drilling machine by Fervi there is a display for checking the milling depth. In the control panel, on the other hand, there is a display for monitoring the rotation speed. For the micro-metric vertical movement of the sleeve there is a special knob that allows both the slow descent of the spindle and its ascent. If, on the other hand, it is necessary to move the entire three drill head, there is an additional handwheel.

The table of the bench geared drilling machine can be moved both longitudinally and transversally. For the longitudinal movement there are two handwheels placed laterally on the table, while on the base there is the handwheel for the transversal movement.
