The bench sandblast cabinet by Fervi is the tool for cleaning and satin finishing metal surfaces even when space is at a premium. The machine works by means of a pressurised flow of dry abrasive particles. These particles can be either glass or abrasive stone granules, and depending on the type of particle used, the finish can be either coarse or fine. This type of equipment is ideal for various work environments, but it is to be considered a service machine and not a production machine, as it is not suitable for continuous production, but must be used intermittently during the working day.

On the left side of the bench sandblast cabinet is the switch that powers the lamp inside the cabin. To operate the machine, on the other hand, there is a foot pedal that must be placed on the floor. At the front of the base there is a manometer to check the pressure of the compressed air. On the left side is the knob for adjusting the compressed air pressure.

To sandblast, simply slip your hands into the protective gloves supplied with the benchtop sandblasting machine and grasp the workpiece. Then use the foot pedal to activate the compressed air supply to the nozzle, and move the workpiece under the fixed nozzle to direct the jet onto the workpiece. The machine is also equipped with a dust filter to prevent dust from escaping.

It is possible to check the progress of the work carried out with the Fervi bench sandblast cabinet thanks to the transparent PVC screen at the top of the machine. This screen protects operators from the possibility of micro-spheres causing damage to the eyes.
