Magnetic tapping drill Fervi 0518/38M
In stock
The magnetic tapping drill Fervi is the ideal solution for carrying out precise drilling in metallic materials. It is a machine designed to be used exclusively on ferromagnetic materials, which are capable of holding the drill in position. In this way it will be possible to guarantee high stability during machining, a feature which makes this drill a particularly suitable tool to be used for precision machining.
For the advancement of the spindle of the Fervi magnetic tapping drill the machine is equipped with a handwheel with three levers. It is also fitted with a two-position mechanical speed selector that allows you to set the rotation speed of the spindle. On the other hand, to adjust the rotation speed within the selected speed range, you may use the provided speed adjustment potentiometer.
The magnetic tapping drill is equipped with a tank that allows the accumulation of the special liquid to be used for cooling the gravity chuck which can be used during operation if the conditions of use allow it. In any case, it is always advisable to lubricate the tool during drilling operations.
The power switch of the magnetic tapping drill’s magnet, located on the control panel, also works as the main switch of the machine. In fact, if the magnet placed in the lower part of the drill is not activated, the machine cannot start working.
