Open fronted ESD boxes 230/200 x 140 H 130 mm

The open-fronted ESD boxes are designed to organise and store small electronic components by protecting them from electrical discharges that can damage them irreversibly. Ideal for operators in the pharmaceutical, electronics and logistics sectors, but also for general industry, these boxes are moulded in ESD plastic, making them perfect for EPA (ESD Protected Area) departments or areas. Picking or assembly personnel will always have the material available, which will be clearly visible and accessible even with boxes stacked on several levels.

Stackable, the open-fronted ESD containers ensure stability thanks to side reinforcements; the smooth bottom also makes them compatible with use on conveyor rollers. The individual load capacity is 5 kg, while the stacking capacity is up to a maximum of 30 kg. This model is available in black and weighs 240 grams. The total dimensions are 230/200 x 140 H 130 mm.

The quality of Italian manufacture already starts with the selection of raw materials. The ESD conductive polypropylene used to produce the boxes consists of a mixture of plastic polymers with special additives that prevent the formation of electrostatic discharges. These open-fronted ESD boxes can be used in environments with temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C and are easily sanitised with products that do not contain aggressive chemicals.

The manufacturer produces the open-fronted ESD boxes in strict compliance with the guidelines contained in the framework standard CEI EN 61340-5-1 (ref. IEC 61340-2-3), which regulates the use of ESDs (Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices) and defines the technical requirements for manufacture.
