ESD boxes 400 x 300 H 220 mm

The ESD boxes made of ESD (Electro Static Discharge) polypropylene are the compact solution for safely storing and transporting sensitive electronic components designed specifically for production, logistics and assembly lines in the electronics industry. Compared to other types of containers, ESD ones prevent the formation of electrostatic charges that could damage delicate electronic materials. The many advantages of these containers include light weight, durability, and standard sizes compatible with euro pallets.

The material used to manufacture these containers is ESD conductive polypropylene, which is a plastic polymer with additives that provide protection from electrostatic discharge. The cassette withstands temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C and offers a reinforced structure for safe stacking even under full load, with closed walls and closed bottom. ESD boxes can be easily sanitised, but the use of harsh chemicals is not recommended.

The ESD boxes can be ordered in black, have external dimensions of 400x300x220h mm, and can be equipped with a hinged lid, available as an accessory. The useful internal height when stacked is 205 mm, while with lid is 207 mm. The boxes weigh 1438 g, have an internal volume of 20 l and a load capacity of 15 kg individually and 250 kg when stacked.

Referred to as "conductive containers" for ESD protection, these ESD boxes are made in accordance with the CEI EN 61340-5-1 (ref. IEC 61340-2-3) standard, which prescribes the criteria to be adopted when handling ESDs (Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices), as well as technical requirements that manufacturers must comply with.
