ESD boxes 600 x 400 H 220 mm

The ESD boxes are optimal containers for safely storing, transporting and shipping sensitive electronic components because they are made of ESD (Electro Static Discharge) resistant plastic. Compared to other containers, in fact, those with ESD technology prevent the formation of electrostatic charges that are dangerous to delicate electronic components. Using these containers, especially in the electronics industry, leads to numerous advantages, including reduced waste and losses, durability, standard dimensions compatible with euro pallets, and extreme lightness of the product.

Black ESD-conductive polypropylene is the material of choice for manufacturing the ESD boxes: it is a high-quality plastic polymer with additives that nullify electrostatic discharge. The operating temperatures of these boxes range from -20°C to +60°C, and their design allows for easy hygienisation, to be carried out without the use of aggressive chemicals. They also have closed walls, a closed bottom and structural reinforcements to ensure safe stacking even when fully loaded.

The external dimensions are 600x400x220 mm, and the weight is 2896 g, for a total capacity of 40 litres. The ESD boxes are made even more functional by the hinged lid, which can be purchased as an optional accessory. The useful internal height with lid is 207 mm, while when stacked it becomes 205 mm. The load capacity of each box is 20 kg, but a maximum load capacity of 300 kg is possible with stacking.

The ESD boxes are manufactured in accordance with the standard EN 61340-5-1 (ref. IEC 61340-2-3), which indicates the technical requirements to be met in the fabrication of ESD equipment and the criteria to be adopted when handling ESDs (Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices).
