ESD boxes 600 x 400 H 280 mm

EDS boxes are designed to protect sensitive electronic components and parts during storage, transport and shipment. Thanks to their ESD (Electro Static Discharge) plastic construction, they minimise discards and losses due to unnecessary friction and handling. Among the many advantages of using these boxes in the electronics industry are the lightness of the material, Euro-standard dimensions, resistance to intensive use and the possibility of stacking several units.

The quality of the product already starts with the selection of state-of-the-art raw materials: black ESD conductive polypropylene is a plastic polymer mixed with special additives that protect against electrical discharges. These conductive boxes operate in environments with temperatures from -20°C to +60°C and are easily sanitised by using non-aggressive products. The construction features closed walls and bottom, as well as side reinforcements for a safe overlap when fully loaded.

ESD boxes measures 600 x 400 H 280 mm externally, weighs 3210 g and has a single load capacity of 20 kg and a stacking capacity of 300 kg. The internal volume is 53 litres per box. A hinged lid is available as an optional accessory, which increases the internal usable height from 276 mm to 267 mm and allows safe handling of the contents.

The CEI EN 61340-5-1 (ref. IEC 61340-2-3) standard is scrupulously followed by the producer in the design and manufacture of conductive anti-static ESD boxes. The standard defines technical requirements and criteria to be adopted for the safe handling of ESDs (Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices).
