Sandblast cabinet Fervi 0601 with dust collector

The sandblast cabinet by Fervi is the ideal machine when you need to carry out processes to clean and satin finish the surfaces of metal parts. These processes are carried out through a pressurised flow of dry abrasive particles that can be glass granules or abrasive stone granules. Depending on the abrasive material used, different degrees of finishing can be achieved, from the coarsest to the finest. This type of machine is to be considered a service machine and not a production machine as it is suitable for intermittent work during the working day and not continuous work.

In order to carry out sandblasting, the sandblast cabinet must be connected to a compressor or to a centralised compressed air system, which must be capable of providing constant pressure. The air system is operated by a foot pedal located on the ground at the front of the machine and is regulated by a pressure reducer. The pressure gauge on the reducer itself can be read to check that the desired pressure is obtained.

To prevent dust or other particles resulting from the work from escaping from the cabinet, the sandblast cabinet is equipped with a dust collector with a cyclone filter, located at the rear of the machine. In addition, the control panel, located on the side of the sandblaster, has two switches, one to operate the light inside the sandblasting cabin and one to operate the suction.

The professional sandblast cabinet has a glass window at the top through which one can see the work being carried out inside the sandblasting cabin. The glass is covered with a transparent PVC film that can be replaced and prevents abrasive micro-spheres, compressed air or other particles from causing damage to the operator's eyes.
