Sandblast cabinet Fervi 0687 with dust collector

The sandblast cabinet by Fervi is a tool for cleaning and satin-finishing metal surfaces. These processes are carried out by means of a pressurised flow of dry abrasive particles that can be, for example, glass or abrasive stone granules. Depending on the type of particle used, the finish of the work can be coarser or finer. This type of machine is considered a service machine, as it is designed to work intermittently during the working day and not continuously.

In order to be able to carry out work such as sandblasting, the machine must be connected to a compressor or a centralised compressed air system capable of providing a constant pressure of 5.5 Bar. By means of the pressure regulator, it is possible to vary the pressure until the desired level of pressure is obtained to carry out the work. The compressed air pressure for sandblasting is indicated by the manometer on the pressure regulator.

Between the front legs of the professional sandblast cabinet is the foot pedal, which allows the blasting process to start. Pressing the pedal starts the sandblasting operation. This is a maintained action control, so the commanded function is active as long as the pedal is kept depressed. In the bottom of the sand hopper there is a flow control valve that regulates the flow of sand into the gun.

This sandblast cabinet model is also equipped with a dust collector, which allows sandblasting to be performed safely. Thanks to the dust collector, it is possible to extract the dust produced inside the cabin. Consisting of an electric motor, a suction motor and a cyclone filter, it is positioned at the rear of the cabinet.
