Sandblast cabinet Fervi 0878 with dust collector
In stock
The sandblast cabinet by Fervi is a tool with which metal surfaces can be cleaned and polished. It does this by using a pressurised flow of dry abrasive particles that can be either glass or abrasive stone granules. Depending on the type of material chosen as abrasive particles, the finish may be coarser or finer. This type of machine is considered a service machine and not a production machine, as it is indicated for intermittent processing during the working day and not for continuous production.
To use the sandblast cabinet, it must be connected to a compressor or to a centralised compressed air production system. Both of these solutions must be capable of producing compressed air, providing a constant pressure of 5.5 Bar. To prevent dust and other debris from escaping from the cabin, included as standard equipment is a vacuum cleaner with cyclone filter that sucks in and filters dust.
Positioned between the front legs of the professional sandblast cabinet is the foot pedal for operating the fixed sandblasting nozzle. This is a maintained action control, so the flow of abrasive material continues as long as the pedal is pressed. For sandblasting with a mobile gun, on the other hand, it is sufficient to grasp the gun, after wearing the gloves, and press the trigger, directing the jet onto the workpiece.
In the upper part of the sandblast cabinet there is a transparent PVC screen thanks to which it is possible to see the work being carried out inside the cabin. The presence of this screen prevents micro-abrasive beads, compressed air or other particles from causing damage to the operators' eyes.
