Storage container in steel with spill pallet and 2 levels for tanks 1000 lt

The storage container is a solution that allows you to safely store up to 12 IBC tanks with a capacity of 1000 liters. It is a 2-storey solution that thus allows you to optimize the space occupied during storage. As this is a large solution, it may be quite complex to move it once positioned. In fact, for its handling it is necessary to lift it from above or to use an adequate capacity forklift that must be equipped with extensions for the forks. Depending on the needs, it will be possible to purchase the container version with a length of 4800 mm or 7000 mm. Both versions are available without doors, with sliding doors or with PVC tarpaulin.

The structure also includes a spill pallet whose capacity complies with Italian regulations on environmental safety. These regulations require the capacity to be the greater of 33% of the stored volume and the total volume of the largest container. In other countries these regulations may differ and it is recommended to check the required capacity. For example in France it is necessary that it is 50% of the stored volume, while in Germany it is necessary to 10%.

The storage container is a totally safe product, which is manufactured in compliance with the regulations:

• UNI EN ISO 3834-2: 2006 certificate n. 523-088-2012 TÜV Italia and the Essential Requirements for Safety and Environmental Protection (for the manufacturer)
On request it is also possible to obtain the certification relating to the European standard UNI EN 1090 in order to obtain the CE marking for the container.

The sheet thickness of doors, walls and roof is 2.5mm, the sheet thickness of the spill pallet is 3mm. The optional insulating roof and sliding doors are made with 50 mm mineral wool sandwich panels between galvanized and over-painted sheets. The latter are EI30 certified with fire resistance class A2 S1-d0 interposed between the galvanized sheets. On request, the entire container can be insulated. In addition, it is possible to request that the entire metal structure be completed with internal and external 100 mm mineral wool sandwich panels, thus obtaining a REI120 certified container.

The storage container is designed to be fixed to the ground with dowels and is equipped with a removable hot-dip galvanized grating floor, 66x55 mm mesh. In addition, it has ventilation grilles that can be purchased as an accessory. If you plan to store flammable substances, the optional ventilation grids are highly recommended. Their design complies with the provisions of Ministerial Decree 18/05/95 and allows ventilation of 1/30 of the floor area. If the modulcontainer is to be used outside Italy, it will be necessary to verify the relevant national regulations (e.g. in Germany they are recommended, while in France they are compulsory, but the regulations concerning the number in relation to the floor area may vary from those in Italy). In any case, the ventilation grilles and the insulating roof are not necessary for the versions without doors or with PVC tarpaulin. Additional accessories that are supplied on request are explosion-proof ventilation and the polypropylene spill pallet. This is integrated into the container and is suitable for storing corrosive substances (like for example acids and non-solvents).
