The vertical drilling machine Fervi F060 is a machine tool designed to perform operations such as milling, drilling, boring and counterboring on different materials. This is possible by modifying the tool mounted on the spindle according to the operations to be performed and according to the material from which the workpiece is made. The change in the spindle’s rotation speed is operated by a belt drive system. Included in the standard equipment of the vertical drilling machine is also the refrigeration system that can be used during processing to reduce the temperature of machine and workpiece, in order to obtain better finishes and preserve the lifespan of your machine.

The adjustment of the spindle speed must always be performed when the machine is shut down and not powered and can be carried out by operating the two special levers. The plate indicating the spindle rotation speeds corresponding to the available speed change configurations is applied to the front of the head. Before changing the rotation speed, it is necessary to select the motor rotation speed range within which to operate the machine.

The drilling machine is equipped with 3 automatic feed motors that allow you to move the 3 axes X, Y and Z. The vertical movement of the table allows you to bring the workpiece closer to the spindle if its stroke alone is not enough to reach it. This can be done by operating the appropriate lever. Instead, for the radial movement of the table towards the operator and vice versa there are a handwheel and an automatic movement motor. The longitudinal movement – that is to say to the right and to the left – on the other hand, takes place manually by means of 2 handwheels.

The radial movement of the head of the vertical drilling machine allows the spindle to be positioned in the most efficient way to carry out the processing, and can be performed by using the lever on the right side of the cutter body. It is also possible to adjust the inclination of the tool-holder head to allow for inclined processing, and to adjust it around the vertical axis of the same head in order to be able to work even large pieces using the entire stroke of the table.

Three different models of vertical drilling machine are available for purchase. In addition to the "basic" model, it is also possible to choose the model equipped with an inverter with potentiometer and display or the model with a mechanical speed variator that opens and closes the pulleys by changing the spindle’s engine speed ratio. All models are equipped with a 400V engine.
