The geared drilling machine Fervi is a machine tool that allows you to perform operations such as drilling, tapping and milling on different types of material. In fact, it will be enough to change the tool according to the processing to be performed and according to the workpiece’s material. The machine is equipped with a special gear transmission system that regulates the spindle rotation speed. To adjust the spindle rotation speed, just use the controls located in the front part of the head. The rotary switch, available only in the 400V versions, allows you to select the motor rotation speed, while the levers regulate the gear speed change.

To move the spindle vertically, the geared drilling machine is equipped with a radial pattern on the right side of the head. To lower the spindle and bring it closer to the piece to be machined, just grab one of the three knobs and lower the radial. Once the processing is finished, by decreasing the pressure on the radial pattern, it will return to its seat moving away from the machined piece.

To carry out the graduated adjustment of the spindle, instead, it will be necessary to act on the corresponding handwheel, while checking the height to be set by using the indicator on the graduated scale on the front of the head. On the other hand, in order to switch from rapid to calibrated advancement, it is necessary to act on the knob located in the centre of the spindle rapid advancement ring.

To facilitate processing, it is possible to adjust the height of the table. To do this, you may use the rack on the supporting column of the machine. Furthermore, the table can also be moved longitudinally and transversely thanks to the special handwheels.

The geared drilling machine is available in the version with 230 V and 400 V engine. The 400V model is also available in the version equipped with automatic descent of the spindle which is not present in the other two models.
