The bench drilling machine Fervi is the solution that allows you to work on different materials by performing processes such as drilling, threading, milling, boring and spot boring. To carry out the different processes it will be necessary to change the tool used depending on the processing to be executed and the type of material to be processed. The rotation of the spindle is regulated by a belt transmission system which allows to obtain 6 different rotation speeds. To select the desired speed, the positioning of the belts must be changed as indicated in the speed table.

In order to move the spindle of the bench drilling machine, a special handwheel is available, which allows the quick descent of the spindle if turned counter-clockwise while allowing it to be quickly raised if rotated clockwise. The handwheel also features a knob which, once screwed, is connected to a clutch that allows you to go directly to the calibrated feed through the appropriate handwheel.

The table of the drilling machine Fervi can be moved manually in order to allow different processes to be carried out. The handwheels placed on the side enable calibrated and longitudinal feed, while the handwheel placed at the front allows the control of the calibrated transverse feed. In addition, a fourth handwheel enables calibrated longitudinal movements.

To avoid accidental movements during machining, the handwheels of the bench drilling machine may be placed in neutral. To do this, simply pull the handwheel outwards when it is in the standard position so that it comes out of its socket. In this way any further movement will not involve the shifting of the table.
