Bench grinder Fervi S023

The bench grinder Fervi S023 is the ideal tool for carrying out sanding, grinding and/or deburring operations on solid and sturdy materials such as metals or metal alloys. These types of work are carried out by abrasion on the dry grinding wheels fitted on the machine tool. It is recommended not to use the tool continuously for more than 10 minutes at a time to avoid overheating that could damage the motor or the tools. For this reason, this bench grinder is to be considered as a service machine and not as production machine.

Using the professional bench grinder is extremely simple. In fact, once the engine starts, simply place the workpiece to be grinded on the piece-holder bracket and push it towards the grinding wheel without exerting too much pressure. To avoid excessive overheating, it is recommended to immerse the workpiece in water to cool it down. If deemed necessary, a bar of tempered steel can be used to sharpen the working surface of the grinding wheel and make it perfectly flat.

Before starting the bench grinder, it needs to be connected to an external suction system at the two suction inlets that are located at the rear of the fixed guards.

The safety of the operator using the bench grinder is ensured by guards fitted on the dry wheel. Finally, the machine's motor is 230 V 50 Hz 0.40 kW and it requires a standard electrical outlet for its operation.
