Electric slip roll machine Fervi 0285/75

The electric slip roll machine Fervi is a tool designed for industrial use to allow the bending of metal sheets within the specified thickness (75 mm calendering). It is a tool that can curve and bend cylinder or cone-shaped sheets, and to do so it is equipped with three horizontal rollers that rotate to carry out the work. This type of machine is to be considered as a service and not a production machine, therefore continuous use over a long period of time is not recommended.

The two rollers positioned in the front part of the electric slip roll machine are moved by a motor-reducer that is positioned on the left side of the base. The rear roller, on the other hand, can be moved depending on the degree of curvature desired on the sheet metal that is being processed. It is important to bear in mind that the material tends to harden with each pass and therefore it is recommended to complete the job in a few steps.

The mobile control station consists of a pulpit with two pedals that drive the rotation in both directions of the motorised rollers. This movement allows the forward and backward movement of the sheet being processed. There is also a red emergency button to stop the machine in case of necessity. The base can be fixed to the ground by using screws and dowels.

To protect the safety of the operators and prevent them from coming into contact with the moving rollers, the electric slip roll machine is equipped with an emergency cable around the machine. This cable when is under tension, and therefore if the operator gets too close and touches it, has the function to immediately and automatically stop the machine.
