The manual hydraulic pneumatic shop press Fervi is a machine designed to perform pressing operations on objects made of metal or similar materials. It is a tool that can be particularly useful for carrying out assembly operations on mechanical groups, pressing of bearings or pulleys onto shafts. The structure consists of a steel frame and supporting pillars, a movable pallet with a steel cable system, a hydraulic cylinder with a movable piston and a manual or pneumatic drive pump.

The use of the hydraulic pneumatic press by the operator is completely safe; in fact, the main safety devices are: the spring supporting the punch and the locking pins of the pallet and the pressing table. The spring, inserted inside the cylinder that supports the punch, prevents it from accidentally falling by gravity. The locking pins, on the other hand, serve to secure the pallet and pressing table.

With the manual hydraulic press it is possible to carry out manual or pneumatic pressing operations. For manual pressing, the workpiece must be placed on the bench, the pump must be actuated with the operating lever and the hydraulic circuit pressurised. During pneumatic pressing, on the other hand, it is also possible to operate the press using energy supplied from an external source (e.g. a compressor, centralised circuit, etc.). Once connected, simply press the control lever with your foot.

The movable pallet with a steel cable system is adjustable by means of a manual winch. In addition, the pressure level of the hydraulic system can be displayed via the manometer. Finally, the manual hydraulic press measures 1140 x 800 x 1896 mm and has an operating pressure of 0.75 to 0.85 MPa.
