Metal cutting band saw Fervi 0273 with manual and hydraulic descent

The metal cutting band saw Fervi 0273 is the solution that allows you to make cuts on pieces of metallic material. It is in fact a machine designed to cut circular section metal bars with a maximum diameter of 220 mm, square section metal bars with a maximum size of 150 mm and rectangular section metal bars with a maximum size of 260 mm. The standard equipment of the machine also includes a liquid cooling system which is activated automatically when the machine is started. In this way it is possible to improve the cutting conditions and carry out faster and more accurate machining.

In the control panel of the metal cutting band saw there is a mode selector which allows you to select the operating mode of the saw: you can choose between automatic and manual. In manual mode, the blade is operated via the button on the handle and the cut is strictly under the direct control of the operator. In the automatic mode, on the other hand, the blade is activated via the button on the control panel, while the cut can take place without the direct control of the operator.

The metal cutting band saw is also equipped with a speed selector that allows you to select the supply voltage. It is possible to choose between two different motor rotation speeds which will make it possible for the machine to reach a blade rotation speed of 72 rpm. The controls for regulating the descent speed in automatic mode are located on the hydraulic cylinder supporting the saw head.

The structure of the Fervi metal cutting band saw includes a vice for securing the workpiece. In addition, the blade’s tension can be adjusted by using a handwheel and a pressure gauge that allows you to visualize the tension. In the return area of the blade in the protective casing there is a rotating metal brush which allows you to eliminate the shavings to prevent them from entering the protected area of the casing.
