Metal lathe Fervi T080F with clutch and display

The Fervi T080F metal lathe is the professional solution for processing metal materials through the removal of cold shavings. It is a manually operated machine as it can perform movements only on direct operator command. It is a machine that allows you to perform various processes, including turning, facing, profiling, boring and threading. Equipped with mechanical clutch, 3-axis display and Semi-Norton gearbox, it is the ideal product when professional but not continuous machining is required. In fact, it is a service machine and not a production machine and therefore continuous use is not recommended.

The tool trolley is an indispensable part of the lathe: the tool to which the positioning and feed motions are transmitted is fixed on the trolley. The position of the carriage and of the tool holder slides are determined using the levers and handwheels located on the carriage itself. In addition, the metal lathe is equipped with gears (with Semi-Norton box) that guarantee a considerable availability of feeds and threads (metric and inch). The selection of the steps is done through rotary knob selectors. The lever located to the right of the tool holder trolley, on the other hand, allows the start of the spindle rotation and the selection of the direction of rotation. This lever activates the starting by means of a clutch, so it is possible to decide the speed and the force of advancement and starting.

The tailstock is complete with manual controls, then levers, handwheels and screws, which modify the fine adjustment and feed. Furthermore, the Fervi lathe is supplied complete with steady rests, fixed and mobile, for all those operations for which it is not possible to use the tailstock to fix the workpiece (drilling, boring and facing) but also when working long and heavy pieces. .

To obtain the different speeds of the spindle of the Fervi lathe there is a gear speed change. The spindle included with the supply is self-centering and equipped with 3 reversible clamps that allow a firm grip of the workpiece. To adjust the spindle rotation speed there is a panel equipped with two levers for selecting the desired speed.

The digital display included in the supply of the metal lathe allows to monitor the X, Y and Z dimensions with an accuracy equal to 0.0001. It is also possible to store different machining depths according to the X coordinate in which the tool is located.

Two versions of metal lathe are available which differ in the size of the distance between the centers. In fact, a version with a distance of 1500 mm is available, while the second model has a distance of 2000 mm.
