Metal lathe Fervi T069

The Fervi T069 metal lathe is the solution designed for performing processes such as turning, facing, profiling, drilling, boring, threading and parting on a professional level, but not continuously. It is in fact a service machine and not a production machine and consequently continuous use without breaks throughout the day is not recommended. In addition, the operation of the machinery is manual as it depends on the direct command of the operator to perform the movements.

The standard equipment of the Fervi lathe includes a LED lamp to be positioned on the machine that allows you to improve the visibility of the processes carried out, the cooling system, which allows you to cool both the machined piece and the tool, helping the expulsion of shavings .

The tool trolley is necessary to fix the tool and transmit the positioning and advancement motions to it. Through levers and handwheels located on the carriage, it is possible to adjust the position of the carriage itself and of the tool holder slides. Furthermore, the metal lathe is equipped with gears (with Semi-Norton box) that can be adjusted through 4 rotary knob selectors that allow to obtain a considerable availability of feeds and threads (metric and inch). There is also a fifth knob for selecting the direction of advancement of the carriage.

The tailstock is equipped with levers, handwheels and screws that allow fine adjustment and advancement. Furthermore, the Fervi lathe is complete with steady rests (fixed and mobile), indispensable in the processing of long and heavy pieces, but also to manage drilling, boring and facing and all those operations in which it is not possible to use the tailstock to fix the piece in processing.

The Fervi metal lathe is equipped with a 3-jaw self-centering spindle and a 4-jaw independent reversible spindle. It is possible to vary the spindle rotation speed thanks to the gear speed change. The input of the speed to be set is given through the levers present in the control panel which vary according to the processing to be carried out. In addition, among the available models we find a model with inverter equipped with a potentiometer that allows you to adjust the speed within the range selected through the lever. The inverter also allows you to change the speed while keeping the power constant. All models are equipped with a mechanical brake with pedal activation that allows you to slow down or stop completely the rotation of the spindle when necessary.

To meet different needs, the Fervi T069 metal lathe is available with a 400 V motor and in the basic version, with display and with inverter and display. The viewer is useful for checking the X, Y and Z dimensions.
