The Fervi T095F metal lathe is a tool that allows you to perform different types of machining, such as cylindrical and conical turning, facing, profiling, drilling, boring, threading and cutting. Equipped with mechanical clutch, 3-axis viewer and Semi-Norton gearbox, it is a complete product, perfect for professional use. It is also important to consider that it is a service machine, therefore not suitable for continuous production. Its base is also a monobloc structure made of cast iron resistant to twisting and deformation.
The spindle head of the metal lathe is made of cast iron and is very durable. Inside, two protrusions have been obtained that increase its rigidity, allowing to reduce the vibrations that occur during high-speed machining. The spindle is installed on the head shaft and is supported by two precision bearings. It is a self-centering spindle with three reversible clamps that allow the workpiece to be clamped in a stable and safe way. The panel that allows the adjustment of the spindle rotation speed is equipped with two levers for selecting the desired speed according to the type of processing and the type of material.
The tool trolley transmits the positioning and feed motions to the tools. The position of the carriage and of the tool holder slides are modified through the levers and the handwheels located on the carriage itself. In addition, the metal lathe is equipped with gears (with Semi-Norton box) governed by rotary knob selectors: these allow to obtain a considerable availability of feeds and threads (metric and inch). The lever located to the right of the carriage instead allows the start of the spindle rotation and the selection of the direction of rotation. This lever activates the starting by means of a clutch, so it is possible to decide the speed and the force of advancement and starting.
The tailstock is equipped with levers, handwheels and screws, which can be used for fine adjustment and advancement. Finally, the Fervi lathe is equipped with steady rests, fixed and mobile, for operations for which it is not possible to use the tailstock to fix the workpiece (drilling, boring and facing), or for those machining long and heavy pieces.
