Sandblast cabinet Fervi 0615 with dust collector

The sandblast cabinet by Fervi is a machine designed to clean and satin-finish metal surfaces by means of a pressurised flow of dry abrasive particles, such as glass or abrasive stone granules. This type of processing can have different degrees of finish, varying from coarse to fine depending on the grain size of the abrasive particles and the workpiece. Sandblasting takes place inside a closed cabinet: to introduce the workpiece, simply pull up the handle located on the front door. This type of machine is designed for intermittent use during the day as it is a service machine and not a production machine.

In order to sandblast workpieces with the professional sandblast cabinet, it will be necessary to connect it to a compressor or a centralised compressed air production system. The machine's pneumatic system is put into action by a foot pedal located on the ground at the front of the machine and regulated by a pressure reducer. On the control panel, in addition to the pressure reducer, there are two manometers to monitor the incoming air pressure and the value of the air inside the tank.

To prevent dust or other particles from escaping from the cabinet during blasting operations, the sandblast cabinet is equipped with a dust collector with a cyclone filter that allows dust to be extracted and filtered. In this type of machine, the abrasive product is not simply sucked in and thrown onto the workpiece, but is in fact placed in a tank that is pressurised and is thus projected onto the product with much greater speed and impact force.

On the side of the sandblast cabinet is a control panel with two switches. One is used to start the suction and the other turns on the light inside the sandblasting cabin. Finally, at the top of the cabinet there is a glass window, covered by a replaceable transparent PVC film, in order to see what is happening inside the cabinet.
