Sea container

The sea container is the indispensable solution for transporting goods by sea. ISO standard sea containers are also the most widely used containers: they are metal parallelepipeds whose dimensions are internationally standardised. Containers are a robust and versatile product that can be used for transport (by sea, road or rail) as well as for storage.

Moveable by crane and forklift with adequate capacity, sea containers are available in different versions to meet every need. In fact, it is possible to purchase small containers (5, 6, 8 and 10 feet), or 20-foot containers in the BOX or HIGH CUBE (increased height) version, and also 40-foot containers again in the BOX or HIGH CUBE (increased height) version. 

In order to meet all requirements, the sea container is available both of the first voyage type (intended for transfer from Far Eastern factories, so it may show small marks caused by the sea transfer) and of the refurbished type (supplied with overhauled clamping levers and locks, watertight structure and doors, guaranteed stackability). The first voyage models are supplied complete with Rina Certificate for sea shipments valid 5 years from the date of manufacture, for used models the certificate is instead only available on request and is valid for 1 year.
