Modulcontainer for tanks on shelf with EI/REI120 certified panels, spill pallet and sliding doors

The modulcontainer is the two-storey solution that allows you to store outdoors tanks that may contain hazardous substances in a safe and space-optimized manner. Any assessment of the suitability of the container for the storage of hazardous substances should be referred to your HSE manager or safety advisor, who will assess the adequacy of the container on the basis of the specific substances to be handled. The structure is made using for the walls and sliding doors, EI 120 certified panels insulated in mineral wool 100 mm thick, fire reaction class A2-s1-d0. The roof, on the other hand, is made up of corrugated panels (40 mm thick ridges) certified REI 120 insulated in 100 mm thick mineral wool fire reaction class A2-s1-d0. REI 120 doors have a 63 mm thick wing. The pre-painted sandwich panel sheet metal has a thickness of 5/10 on walls and roofing. Also included in the standard equipment are: internal shelving; provision for fixing to the floor, ventilation grilles, gutter and downspouts, continuous slides for support of 80 mm, spill pallet in galvanized carbon steel sheet 2 mm thick and removable hot-galvanized grating floor with 34x76 mm mesh, 25x2 mm plate and capacity 1000 kg / m2. The painting on slides, spill pallet, downspouts and profiles is made in RAL9002 color, but other colors are also available on request.

The modulcontainer models are made in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 152/06 consolidated environmental text and related standards and they are supplied complete with the following documentation:
• Watertight declaration of the tank as required by the Legislative Decree 152/06;
• Declaration that natural ventilation is in accordance with D.M. 18/05/95 with grids of dimensions equal to 1/30 of the plan surface;
• Declaration of the capacity of the grating floor;
• Welding declaration: in accordance with UNI EN ISO 3834-2.2006 with production control plan under surveillance - with qualified welders in accordance with EN 9606-1: 2013 - with welding process in accordance with UNI EN ISO 15614-1: 2012 , UNI EN ISO 9001: 15 certified quality system;
• User and maintenance manual (the operator must always use the Personal Protective Equipment as per Legislative Decree 81/08 for the operations listed in the manual).

The spill pallet allows the containment of the greater between 33% of the stored volume and the total volume of the larger container stored, as required by Italian legislation. If you intend to use the modulcontainer outside Italy, you will need to inquire about the provisions of the country of reference (for example in France 50% of the stored volume is expected, while in Germany 10%). In the same way, the ventilation grilles are structured according to Italian regulations: if you intend to use the module container outside the Italian territory, it is necessary to check the provisions of the national regulations on the subject (for example, in France the grilles are mandatory, while in Germany they are recommended , but the number and structure required may vary).

To move the modulcontainer, depending on the model chosen, you will need a forklift truck equipped with a fork extension or a crane. For models that do not have it as standard, handling by crane by hooking from the base can be purchased as an accessory feature and in this case please bear in mind that you will be able to move your modulcontainer in both ways (crane and forklift). 

The various models available can contain up to 12 tanks. The customization of the modulcontainer is possible thanks to the wide range of accessories available. In fact, it is possible to purchase: the access ramp with or without flap, the non-Atex lighting system, the non-Atex air conditioning system and the non-Atex suction / ventilation system. On request, it is also possible to increase the capacity of the spill pallet positioned on the floor and to equip the container with an Atex-certified electrical system.
