The Fervi 0751 wood lathe is the solution that allows you to perform different processes on pieces of wood. Among the operations that can be carried out are turning, facing and profiling. It is a tool with a horizontal axis, whose cutting motion is given by the way the workpiece is rotating on its own axis. This type of machinery is to be considered as a service machine and not a production machine. In fact, it is ideal to be used intermittently during daily work and not continuously.

The spindle of the wood lathe is fixed on the shaft of the head. It is a plate where there are holes that allow you to fix the workpiece. The area near the spindle is protected with a plexiglass screen, thus ensuring the safety of the operators. The spindle rotation speed can be adjusted through the lever positioned to the left of the spindle. In particular, the adjustment is obtained by rotating the lever so as to bring it to the desired speed.

The lathe is supplied with a sliding carriage that allows the tool to be supported during turning operations. The parts that help make up the support are made of cast iron and equipped with ground guides that ensure high stability. The tailstock, made up of a cast iron body, ensures rigidity and stability in all conditions of use. Its longitudinal movement takes place by means of a handwheel and is equipped with a locking system on the lathe guides.

The rotation speed transmission system of the wood lathe spindle is belt with variable speed pulleys. The support bench is made of sheet metal. The distance between the tips is 900 mm, while the height is 155mm. The maximum turning diameter, on the other hand, is 310 mm.
