The belt wood sander by Fervi is a device for working wood by abrading. Equipped with belt and abrasive disc, it is the ideal combination machine for sanding large surfaces and removing burrs from wood. This type of machine is extremely easy and intuitive to use and is also very versatile. In fact, it can be used by hobbyists, craftsmen, or within production facilities. However, it is important to bear in mind that this is not a production machine but a service machine and therefore cannot be used continuously throughout the day.

In addition to the vertical abrasive belt and disc, the structure of the wood belt sander is equipped with two tilting work tables. These are positioned at the belt and the disc and allow for both right-angled and tilted sanding. To obtain an inclined sanding of head surfaces it is necessary to adjust the inclination of the goniometer from 0 to 60°; instead, to obtain a correct sanding of edges it is necessary to adjust the angle of the work table from 0 to 45°.

The Fervi belt sander is equipped with two discharge holes for the dust produced by sanding, one positioned under the sanding belt and one positioned under the disc. It is possible to connect vacuum hoses or collection bags fixed with clamps to these two exhaust pipes.

The control buttons of the belt wood sander are located on the machine body, between the belt and the disc. They consist of a magnetic switch with two buttons. This ensures against accidental start-up of the machine, making it safe and reliable.
