Modulcontainer for floor drums in steel with spill pallet and swing doors

The modulcontainer is the ideal solution for the floor storage of drums that contain hazardous substances. Depending on the specific type of substance to be handled, the HSE manager or the appointed safety advisor will decide on the suitability of the container for the storage of these substances. The structure allows the storage of drums on pallets and consists as standard of: provision for fixing to the ground with dowels (securing is up to the user); continuous 80 mm slides for support; ventilation grilles; gutters and downspouts; hot-dip galvanized grating floor with 34x76 mm mesh, 25x2 mm plate and load capacity 600 kg / m2; 2 mm thick galvanized carbon steel spill pallet; walls, doors and roof in galvanized and corrugated steel; walls and doors made with sheets with a 20 mm corrugation printed on 30x30 tubular frames; roof made with sheets with a 20 mm corrugation. Made of galvanized steel, the container module is also available in the version painted in RAL9002 . Other colors are also available upon request.

All the available models of modulcontainers are produced in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 152/06 consolidated environmental text and related standards and are supplied complete with the following documentation:
• Watertight declaration of the tank as required by the Legislative Decree 152/06;
• Declaration that natural ventilation is in accordance with D.M. 18/05/95 with grids of dimensions equal to 1/30 of the plan surface;
• Declaration of the capacity of the grating floor;
• Welding declaration: in accordance with UNI EN ISO 3834-2.2006 with production control plan under surveillance - with qualified welders in accordance with EN 9606-1: 2013 - with welding process in accordance with UNI EN ISO 15614-1: 2012 , UNI EN ISO 9001: 15 certified quality system;
• User and maintenance manual (the operator must always use the Personal Protective Equipment as per Legislative Decree 81/08 for the operations listed in the manual).

The spill pallet, included in the standard equipment, is made following Italian safety regulations. In fact, its structure is designed to contain the greater of 33% of the volume stored and the volume of the largest container stored. To use the modulcontainer outside Italy it is necessary to inquire about the regulations in force on the subject for the specific country where it will be used (for example France requires 50% of the stored volume while Germany 10%). The ventilation grilles are also structured on the basis of Italian legislation: if you intend to use the module container outside the Italian territory, it is therefore important to check the national legislation on the subject (for example, in France the grilles are mandatory, while in Germany are recommended, but the number and structure required may vary).

To handle the modulcontainer, a forklift truck equipped with fork extension is required. Alternatively, the provision for handling by crane with hooking from the base is available as an accessory and in this case remember that you will be able to handle it in both ways (forklift and crane).

Several options are available that allow you to better customize the modulcontainer according to your specific needs. Among the available accessories are: the handling ramp with or without flap (with forklift pockets), non-Atex lighting system with 1 or 2 light points, non-Atex air conditioning system and non-Atex suction / ventilation system. In addition, a spill pallet with greater capacity is available on request.
